Meet Becca

Becca Monroe is an award-winning journalist and author of contemporary romantic suspense novels that feature sassy heroines with real-life struggles. Filled with humor, family drama, danger, and irresistible heroes, her books offer unexpected twists and a heart-throbbing happily-ever-after.

She worked as a reporter after studying journalism at the University of Arizona, Tucson, and later worked in communications and public relations. She now writes full-time.

Her first book, Dangerous Revenge, was a finalist in the Gateway to the Best Contest of the Missouri Romance Writers contest.

Becca looks forward to sharing her work, which showcases the wildly creative, diverse, and hardworking folks of North Carolina and the state’s spectacular beauty. Watch for the Mountain Island Lake series in spring 2025.
